RE-CERTIFICATION CLASSES ( 1/2 day class) :

This course is designed to review the principals of cross-connection control for the individual who holds a backflow certification. It is a three-hour course. It reviews basic information about cross-connection, state and federal regulations, reviews hydraulics and the operation of the Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly and the Double Check. Class materials include a study guide and sample test procedures.

Following the review session applicants take a 25-question written exam and a hands-on exam and test a Reduce Pressure Zone Assembly and a Double Check Assembly.

Note: You must have a valid backflow tester card issued by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, ASSE, ABPA, or another authority. ASSE will give a six month grace period for expired cards in order to take the recertification class. If you are not currently ASSE certified, please enclose a copy of your card with your registration.

Classes will be offered in Kansas City, unless otherwise noted, on the dates indicated below. Other classes can be arranged outside of Kansas City when eight or more are enrolled. Exams are given immediately following class. Fees include all materials and exams.

COURSE FEES: $285 (includes complete training, study guides, registration and testing fees) Registration is not final until payment or purchase order is received.
